A Year of Growth, Leadership, and Smarter Water Management Across Ontario and Quebec
As 2025 comes to a close, one thing is clear: this was a defining year for WMC Water.
For WMC Water, this past year wasn’t about chasing scale for its own sake. It was about expanding where it made sense, adding the right expertise, and staying close to the facilities that rely on us every day. Across Ontario and Quebec, we worked alongside commercial, industrial, and institutional clients who are facing increasing pressure on their HVAC systems, boilers, cooling towers, and central plants, and who need water treatment partners that understand the realities on the ground.
Being named to The Globe and Mail’s list of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies was a meaningful milestone for our team.
That recognition isn’t about numbers on a spreadsheet. It reflects years of steady relationships, field-level consistency, and a growing demand for proactive water management. Facilities are asking more of their systems, longer runtimes, higher efficiency, tighter compliance, and water treatment has become a critical part of protecting equipment and managing risk. We’re proud to be trusted in that role.
In 2025, we officially launched our Southwestern Ontario division, allowing us to better serve a region with a diverse mix of manufacturing, healthcare, and large commercial facilities.
To support that expansion, we welcomed two additional members to the team. Both bring strong regional experience and a practical, hands-on approach to HVAC, boiler, and cooling tower water treatment programs. Having boots on the ground matters, and this move has already improved response times, site familiarity, and continuity for our clients.
Over the course of the year, WMC Water added five new team members across Ontario and Quebec.
This growth wasn’t centralized or abstract. It was targeted, adding people in the regions where clients need faster support, local knowledge, and consistent site presence. Water treatment is rarely “one size fits all,” and expanding our team this way allows us to provide solutions that reflect local systems, regulations, and operating conditions.
One of the most important developments of 2025 was the launch of our Engineering Division.
More and more clients are asking for support beyond routine chemical programs. They’re looking for help with system design decisions, long-term planning, performance reviews, and water safety considerations across HVAC systems, central plants, and industrial processes.
The Engineering Division allows us to support that work directly. It adds depth to what we already do, helping clients look ahead, not just react, while staying closely connected to our core water treatment services.
To support continued growth without compromising service quality, WMC Water introduced two new leadership roles in 2025:
These appointments reflect where our business is heading: deeper technical capability, thoughtful expansion, and long-term partnerships built on trust and expertise.
Education remained a major focus throughout 2025. Our team hosted and participated in multiple educational seminars, technical sessions, and industry events on topics including cooling systems, steam and boiler performance, and evolving best practices in water treatment.
We were also active at trade shows and industry events and expanded our involvement in professional associations, including joining Food & Beverage Ontario (FBO). These efforts reflect our belief that better outcomes start with better understanding, helping facility teams make informed decisions about water treatment, risk management, and system performance.
To better serve clients across the Greater Toronto Area, we relocated to a new office in Mississauga in 2025.
Being closer to the facilities we support improves coordination, response times, and collaboration. It’s a practical move that aligns our infrastructure with the needs of a growing client base.
As we move into 2026, WMC Water remains focused on what matters most: delivering dependable water treatment solutions that protect systems, reduce risk, and support long-term performance.
From HVAC water treatment and boiler water treatment to cooling tower water treatment and complex industrial water treatment programs, our team is ready to build on the momentum of 2025, continuing to support facilities across Ontario and Quebec with expertise, integrity, and care.
Thank you to our clients, partners, and team members who made this year possible. We’re looking forward to what’s next.
